Period Corsets® worn by Keltie Colleen in Las Vegas Planet Hollywood Peep Show

This is one of Keltie Colleen's portfolio pictures.

She's wearing our Lilly c. 1900 underbust corset made in a pink and gold lame checked fabric with a hot pink lace overlay. We made this corset for her costume for Planet Hollywood's Peep Show in March of 2009.

Meet the Period Corsets® Rabbit Punch

What is a rabbit punch?
Watch and see it in action. A skillful Period Corsets® employee punches 3/4" holes in a corset pattern and hangs it on the pattern rack for efficient storage. She is using a rabbit punch, which gets it's name, not surprisingly by looking a bit like a rabbit.

Period Corsets® Final Day at the USITT Conference in Kansas City

Friday was our last day at the USITT conference.  We debuted the newest addition to our line of corsets, the c.1725 Louisa corset.  (See above on the form in the foreground)  This Louisa corset is made with a double layer of cotton coutil and a white linen/cotton blend.  The corset  is paired with a custom length Peasant Petticoat made in a rustic woven blue/grey  cotton.

The skirt supports tidy,  hanging all in a row...

Emily couldn't resist taking the complete c.1560 Salon ensemble home with her! Can't wait to see her facing off with Mary Queen of Scots at her Renaissance Festival this summer.

Time to pack up. See you next year in Charlotte!

And....... the winner is.......

Rebecca White from Otterbein College in Ohio. She visited our booth first thing on Thursday to enter our drawing, and won a Period Corsets® garment.  In our email newslettter reminding everyone to visit us at USITT, we invite you to drop off a business card to enter a drawing at the conference--the lucky winner picks one of our corsets, petticoats or skirt supports. You have to be on our newsletter list to be invited!

Sign up from our web site so you won't miss out next year.

Our lucky winnner, Rebecca chose one of our skirt supports, a size medium 19th c. bustle. She's doing a production of "A Doll's House" next year and according to Rebecca, "I really don't want to make that!" Rebecca, we are glad to help you get jump on your build!

Thanks to everyone who visited our booth. It was wonderful to see you all!
